Africa’s biggest acts face off at 2018 MOBOs
Ten of Africa's biggest artists have been nominated for this year's Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards.
The ten will face off for the 'Best African Act' category of the Awards which is marking its 22nd anniversary this year.
Competing for that award are; Sarkodie (Ghana), Davido (Nigeria), Wizkid (Nigeria), Eugy (Ghana), Juls (UK-based Ghanaian artist), Maleek Berry (Nigeria), Mr Eazi (Nigeria), Tekno (Nigeria), Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Wande Coal (Nigeria).
Winners for the 'Best African Act' category and other categories will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 29 at Leeds First Direct Arena West, Yorkshire, England.
Apart from the 'Best African Act' nomination, Wizkid was also nominated for the 'Best International Act' category.
He is up against DJ Khaled, Drake, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, Cardi B, Solange Knowles, SZA, and Travis Scott for that award.
UK grime star Stormzy leads this year's MOBOs with five nominations. The five nods includes, 'Best Male', 'Best Grime Act' and 'Best Album'.
